November 28, 2024The 2023-24 Northern Health Annual Meeting was held earlier today, and provided an opportunity to look back on the past financial year and celebrate the significant highlights and achievements of our staff.
Jennifer Williams AM, Board Chair, together with Debra Bourne, newly appointed Chief Executive, spoke about the successes and milestones achieved amidst a challenging climate.
“As the Board Chair of Northern Health, I am delighted to speak to you about the dedication, resilience and excellence that continues to drive Northern Health forward,” said Ms Williams AM.
“As we reflect on the past 12 months, it is clear that none of our achievements would have been possible without the unwavering commitment of our staff, the collaboration of our partners, and the support of our community.”

Ms Williams AM also acknowledged the high performance of Siva Sivarajah, Chief Executive, and excellent leadership of the executive team in 2023-24.
“While Siva has now moved on to a new role within the Department, the Executive continue to provide strong and focused leadership, guiding Northern Health through challenges and successes, led by Debra Bourne, who earlier this week was officially announced as the new Chief Executive Officer at Northern Health,” Ms Williams AM said.
“We are excited to have Debra at the helm of Northern Health, and confident that her vision, expertise and commitment will continue to drive the organisation forward in 2024-25.”
