Victoria’s Public Fertility Service
Northern Health now offers access to comprehensive, world-class fertility treatment including genetic counselling, fertility preservation, fertility assessment, and treatment.
This free service is available to individuals and couples of all genders who:
- who have been trying to conceive naturally but have been unsuccessful, and/or
- whose situation or health may prevent or impair fertility or safe conception, and
- meet the relevant criteria
To access Victoria’s Public Fertility Service, you will need a referral from your GP or specialist along with the results of relevant tests and investigations.
Your referral will be assessed by the Royal Women’s Hospital, who is leading this service, and you will be contacted as soon as possible to let you know whether your referral has been accepted.
Once you are a patient of the fertility service, you will be able to attend all your appointments at [insert health service name]. You will only need to travel to the Women’s for your procedure/s.
